Baby Photo

I had my appointment this week (36 weeks) and they guesstimate her to be 6 lbs 9 ounces right now, which puts her on track for 8 lbs at birth (39 weeks). Ignore the umbilical cord in front of her left eye - apparently getting a bit crowded in there!

Ophelia's Name

In case anyone is wondering, we finally came up with a name for our little girl. Sorry to say that it's not 'Ophelia', but it is a beautiful name.

As with Micah, we won't be giving away the name until she's born, so don't ask!

Funny story, we were down to 5 names the other night and Kara granted me the final decision making powers. I was truly surprised since she's never agreed with me on names (especially girl names) in the past. And, amazingly enough, she actually meant it. I made the choice, based on our top 5 names. And to make it fun, I made the choice Friday night but dragged it out until Sunday to tell her, so I got to enjoy the new name alone with my little girl for 2 days!

Our little ****** is going to be such a princess...

32 1/2 weeks

So how about a new picture??? I am 32 1/2 weeks now, almost 33 which means the baby will be here in 6 weeks. Are we ready for 2 kids???

It's a GIRL

Well the doctor said we have a healthy 11 ounce baby girl in my belly. The ultrasound went well, she looks great. We are all excited for Micah's little sister!

I am headed to the doctor...news later...wow! Hoping for a healthy baby boy OR girl!

Tomorrow

Wow, we find out tomorrow if this little one is a boy or a girl. Micah is working on saying boy and girl so he will be ready either way. If you ask him will it be a boy or girl, he says girl. But if you ask will it be a girl or boy, he says boy. So we're not sure in his prediction capabilities. I can't believe it's already time to find out, how time is flying. Halfway there on Wednesday...hard to believe! Stay tuned....
